Vision
The Middleton School District counseling program aims to assist all students on their path towards becoming productive and responsible members of their community. We strive to foster their academic growth, personal and social development, and career exploration, ensuring they become lifelong learners.

Mission
School counselors play a crucial role as valued members of the education team in every school within the District. By implementing a comprehensive school counseling program, they support all students in their academic achievement, personal and social development, and career exploration. School counselors offer short-term individual and group counseling, as well as academic guidance. Additionally, they serve as advocates for students, actively participating in various teams and committees.

Goals

Our goal is to:

~ Help every student excel academically with a pathway to graduation.

~ Collaborate with parents, staff, and the community to meet student needs. 

~ Offer a data-informed counseling program covering guidance, planning, support, and responsive services.

We aim to:

~ Develop students' self-awareness

~ Respect for others

~ Problem-solving

~ Emotional management

~ Learning skills

~ Understanding academic habits for career success. 

Lastly, we'll promote compassion, empathy, respect, and kindness in our school community.
