Mrs. Sheri Burke

My name is Sheri Burke and I am currently teaching 8th grade Social Studies . I have been teaching for almost 25 years. I received my undergraduate degree from Boise State University, and earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from Northwest Nazarene University.

Most of my teaching career has been spent in the Middleton School District. After teaching for one year at Emmett, I began my tenure in Middleton. I taught at Mill Creek and Purples Sage before making the move to MMS. I have watched our little town grow into a much larger town and it's really exciting to see the Jack in the Box moving in!

My children attended Middleton schools and have both moved on to become wonderful humans! My son is a lawyer in Boise and my daughter is a mom raising three of my seven grandchildren. 

My hobbies include traveling, searching out cool museums, riding my bike, and crafts such as counted-cross stitch, knitting, and sewing. 

I am excited about beginning a new year at MMS and cannot wait to meet your child!
