Mrs. Morgan Crow
I am excited to get back to teaching Science this year. I am a graduate from The College of Idaho in Caldwell. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology/Sociology with a focus in Crime in Society and a minor in elementary education. I took the following year to receive my teaching certification and completed a section of my student teaching here at Middleton Middle School. From then on I knew I wanted to teach middle school and ideally at MMS. This became a reality for me the next year in 2012!
My interest in science goes beyond the classroom. I participate in as many science professional developments as I can. I am a member of the National Science Teacher’s Association (NSTA). Within the valley, I have become certified as a Master Water Steward- University of Idaho Extension program. This allows me to collect data on our water quality in our rivers, streams, and lakes from our watershed. I am also a member of the Nampa Garden Club. To my current knowledge, I am the only teacher within the state of Idaho who has completed two courses from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) for educators;Ocean Studies and the Earth’s Atmosphere course. Both of these align well with the content I teach.
I have a passion for culture, animals, plants/nature and stars in the night sky! In my spare time I enjoy traveling, gardening and spending time with family!
As for my students, I have high expectations for their academics and behaviors. My goal for students is to see their strengths and feel great about how they are performing in the classroom.
