Focus Math

Here's a bit about my program: Focus Math is a math intervention course outside of the Core Math class for 7th and 8th graders. It is designed to build numerical fluency, algebraic thinking, measurement and data, geometry,  and provide mathematical conversations with hands-on and engaging digital activities for students to gain confidence in their ability to do math problems for their specific grade level.  Students will often work in pairs, small groups, and practice math skills using computer programs.  It is intended for those that are struggling with their general math class and need additional practice.
