Graphic Design: In Graphic Design, students will have the opportunity to become industry certified in Adobe Illustrator. Adobe Illustrator is a software application for creating drawings, illustrations, and artwork. Our course will use BrainBuffet tutorials to prepare for the certificate. These course licenses are generously provided by the Idaho State Department of Education, ‘Create Idaho,' for students to have the ability to become certified for industry.
6th Exploratory: 6th grade exploratory for Computer Science allows students to learn more about cyber safety, cybersecurity, Cryptography, block based programming, and new skills in Google apps. They will also improve their typing techniques and skills.
3D Design: 3D design follows the engineering design process while learning how to create three-dimensional designs in a computer-aided design program (CAD). In our course, students will learn how to use Tinkercad and SketchUp for Schools. Students will have the opportunity to send a file to be printed on our 3D Printers.
Coding with Minecraft: Coding with Minecraft uses Microsoft MakeCode and Minecraft Education to engage students in game-based learning while learning coding skills, digital citizenship, cybersecurity topics, and more! Some of the coding skills learned are: decomposition, algorithms, events, event handlers, functions, iteration, debugging, arrays, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and program development.
