Mrs. Stephanie Mips
My name is Stephanie Mips and I am honored to be one of the assistant principals at Middleton Middle School. This will be my 22nd year in education and my 4th year as assistant principal at MMS. Previously, I was a teacher in the Middleton School District ever since we relocated to Idaho in 2014. Before that, I taught in Southern California in grades 1-6 including the Gifted and Talented program. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Chapman University and Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential in my graduate program at Chapman. I have completed a Masters in Educational Leadership: Building Administrator through Northwest Nazarene University.
My family moved to Idaho in 2014 after multiple visits. We love what Idaho has to offer and the values in place. We love being a part of the Middleton community. My sons both graduated from Middleton High School and attend college out of state. My husband, Greg, and I enjoy the rural life of living in Middleton and being a part of a small community.
Working in education has been a passion of mine from day one. I believe that it is important to provide a safe, engaging environment where students feel comfortable to learn and grow. I also believe in working as a team in order to help foster a positive work environment where all staff feels valued and supported.
