Mr. Ramon Salinas

Hello,

My name is Ramon Salinas, and I will be teaching Advanced Fitness, Health, and Lifetime Fitness for the 2020-2021 school year. I am an Assistant Coach for the Freshman Football at the High School. I also coach the 7th Grade Boys B team for basketball. I am a first-year teacher and recent graduate of the University of Idaho with a B.S.Ed in Physical Education & a minor in Health Education. Go, Vandals! I am an advocate for sports, and if I am not watching them, I'm either coaching or reffing.

I enjoy teaching students physical education, different movement patterns, motor behaviors, and overall working on themselves to become healthier individuals.

I am a Member of the National Education Association, Idaho Education Association, Middleton Education Association, and the Society of Health & Physical Education (SHAPE) Idaho. I love to present in workshops at the SHAPE Idaho conference and have presented on a variety of Physical Education topics over the last four years.
