Mrs. Jen Sanford
I currently teach 7th grade Social Studies and 6/7/8 Student Leadership. This is my eleventh year working in Middleton School District. I completed my student teaching and served two years as an Americorps Volunteer, tutoring at-risk youth here in Middleton, as well. I spent ten years as special education and sign language paraprofessional, before receiving my BA in History and Social Studies Education from Boise State in 2013. I am proud to have been presented with Middleton’s 2016 Hometown Hero award by the Modern Woodsmen of American Youth Service Club of Caldwell.
I love reading, all things musical, camping, volunteering, football, football, and more football! Of course, I’m a dedicated BSU Broncos fan! I also enjoy spending time with my husband, visiting our three grown daughters, and snuggling with my four-legged fur babies. My life motto can be summed up by a quote from President John F. Kennedy, “One person can make a difference, and everyone should try.” I am grateful to be given the opportunity every day to make a difference in every one of my student's lives.
