Ms. Madison Smith

Hi! My name is Madison Smith and I teach 6th grade social studies. I am so excited to work with your learners, and can’t wait to help them explore the wide world of social studies. I received my Honors Bachelor of Education from Idaho State University, as well as completed a thesis on student mental health in education. I’m from Idaho, born and raised in Caldwell. 

I chose to teach social studies because of the many fantastic social studies teachers I had growing up. However, it is a subject I grew to love for its own merits. I have had the opportunity to travel to Washington, D.C. to speak to senators and congressmen, as well as participated greatly in my local and state government. I have additionally worked with local and national students for National History Day, which allows students to learn the ins and outs of specific historical events. 

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and pet, as well as read and watch movies. I’m a fan of Marvel and Disney movies, as well as Harry Potter, both the books and movies.
