Mrs. Melissa Wagner

My name is Melissa Wagner, and I am proud to be a Middleton Middle School Viking!!  I am from Boise and I received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Studies from Boise State University.  I am certified to teach K-8 (All Subjects) however Science is the subject I'm most passionate about. This will be my second year teaching and my first year at MMS.

I have a true passion for working with students and trying to be the teacher I always needed when I was in school!!  Helping each child progress as young scientist in all situtations and inpsiring them to discover their personal love of science is what drives me most.  I strive to create a community of learners that nurtures this growth in a positive, fun environment. 

Personally, I have been married for 8 years and have a fantastic daughter who just turned 4.  We have 4 pets, two Mini Aussies and two cats.  We love anything to do with the outdoors (Camping, Hiking, Kayaking, Snowboarding) and we are avid travellers.  We have a large garden in out backyard and even a small greenhouse.  My father spent 30 years in the Air Force so as a child I was very blessed to visit and live in many countries overseas.  After traveling all over the world I finally settled in Idaho 1998 and plan to stay!  I love celebrating most holiday's but Halloween if by far my favorite.
